Three brooches from an early experimental series using Tantalum and Niobium & Aluminium combined with traditional materials of Gold and Silver.

"Signal" and "Kyoto" incorporate sections of laminated, etched and anodised niobium and aluminium, created by Paul Smits of Kingston and presented to me.

•

This was the first time these two elements were ever joined together in such a way.
