Painting in progress.

I plan to document the progress of this painting over the next six weeks. My deadline is about March 17th. Slides have to be in Ottawa by 24th March. This item is hopefully my entry for the annual "Artflight" competition sponsored by the National Aviation Museum in Ottawa.

It may not qualify actually . . I am continuing anyway!

Missed deadline due to being sick for almost three weeks!!

You might enjoy following along. I caution you, as it is a very slow process. Eventually a de Havilland DHC-2 Beaver will appear, trust me! I am risking all by showing you this process, but it will hopefully encourage me to keep slogging along...if I miss the deadline, I hope I will have a painting that will bring back memories of a very happy day in Denali.
